No one wants to get sick, but at least we have a safety net Chihuahua in Sock Merry Christmas shirt. Our employers can’t fire us for being sick, either. They have to keep the job open to you for a whole year before even considering hiring someone for the same job. We have tax levels that are low (at about 25%) for those with a low to medium income and rising (to a maximum of 46.8%) for those with the highest incomes. We also have a sales tax of 25% on most items. Our tax money goes towards covering all of these benefits. Everyone that has a steady income (even the people on disability benefits) pay taxes here and though some people complain about the tax levels, and it can be argued wether or not our benefits are free or not when they are covered by paying taxes, we all appreciate the benefits that come as a result.
He looked Chihuahua in Sock Merry Christmas shirt. I think at that point he thought I was playing a trick on him. I had to repeat several times that there was in fact a lunch with his name on it in the box, before he actually went to look. At the time, I didn’t really understand why he didn’t have a lunch, or that it was something out of the ordinary either. It had always been that way since I started at that school, so it was something I just accepted. It never occurred to me to tell anyone, or ask for help. I just shared what I had. I didn’t even know free lunches were a thing at the time. They were, but it was kind of different back then I think. You had to sign your kids up for it specifically, and it was sort of embarrassing to be on it because all the other kids would know, due to how it was handled, with little punch cards or something. And a lot of parents were too embarrassed to sign their kids up for it. For me, lunch was something I never had to worry about.
